Key Ingredients

  Sana  A potent stimulant laxative enhance the peristaltic movement and evacuate bowel. It also acts as deobstruent, vermicidal, cardiotonic and blood purifier.

 

 Isapghol A natural soluble fiber has a good laxative property. Its polysaccharides form a gel in the intestine which lubricate stool contents and provide greater ease during defecation. Recent studies also showed its glucose & cholesterol lowering effects.

 

 Sandal surkh acts as stomachic and intestinal tonic. It also imparts its soothing and calming effects. Recent studies shows its antihyperglycemic activity

 Halela is a mild laxative and carminative too. Due to its astringent effect it increases the frequency of ileum motility and thus evacuate the bowel. It also possesses antibacterial and anti-oxidant properties.

 

 Zeera safaid aids in proper digestion of food and body's ability to absorb nutrients. It acts as a carminative and antispasmodic, therefore use in dyspeptic problems, such as mild, spastic conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, bloating and fullness.

 

 Kishneez khushk acts as stimulant, stomachic, carminative, antispasmodic, diuretic and anti-inflammatory. Therefore, use to treat dyspeptic complaints like loss of appetite, acidity, bloating, fullness and piles.

 

Action of the Formulation

The constituents of LAXA possess laxative, stimulant, stomachic, carminative, antispasmodic, diuretic, deobstruent, vermicidal, blood purifying and anti-inflammatory properties. Laxa is a gentle laxative which soften the stool and increase the intestinal motility, thus corrects constipation and helpful in piles too. Some constituents possesses stomachic, carminative antispasmodic properties and improves digestion, increases appetite, relieves acidity and flatulence, relieves epigastric discomfort and gripping pain.
